1. ISA (International Society of Automation)

계장, 컴퓨터 및 계측시스템 분야의 이론, 설계 및 제조 규격을 제정

- ANSI/ISA S5.1 : Instrumentation symbols and Identification

- ANSI/ISA S75.01 : Flow Equations for Sizing Control Valves

- ANSI/ISA MC96.1 : Temperature Measurement Thermocouples

- ISA S5.2 : Binary Logic Diagrams for Process Operation

2. ISO (International Standardization Organization)

국제 표준화 기구. IEC (국제 전기 표준 회의)가 담당하는 전기분야 이외의 모든 분야에 대한 국제 규격을 제정.

3. IEC (International Electro-technical Commission)

국제 전기 기술 위원회. 전기 공학적 표준화 목적.

- IEC 60529 : Classification of Degress of Protection Provided by Enclosures

- IEC 60751 : Industrical Platinum Resistance Thermometer Sensors

4. NEC (National Electrical Code)

미국 전기 규격. 미국 법령으로 채용되며 실질적인 안전 기준.

* IEC, NEC 비교

IEC는 영국, 독일, 프랑스 등 여러 국가의 사정을 포함하여 포괄적이며,

NEC는 상세하고 자세하게 적용 사례를 제시.

IEC에서 NEC 규격을 일부 수용하여 Develop 하는 경향.

일본은 주로 IEC를 기본으로 기타 규격을 포함하여 통합 작업.

한국의 경우 KS C IEC 규격 등으로 IEC를 그대로 적용 시도.

5. API (American Petroleum Institute)

미국 석유 협회. 석유 공업에서의 개선 및 단순화를 목적으로 설립.

API 규격이 ISO 국제 규격으로 채용되기도 하며, ANSI 등과 공동으로 간행하는 경우도 있음.
